Auto adjust player handicaps for an event
All player handicaps for an event can be adjusted either by applying a fixed amount or by wheeling from the lowest handicap player.
The auto-adjustment feature is available on the Event Handicaps page and can be activated by clicking the “Auto Adjust Handicaps” button.
Adjust By Wheel of Lowest Handicap Player
When adjusting using the lowest handicap player, the system identifies the player with the lowest handicap and sets that player’s handicap to 0. All other players’ handicaps are then updated based on the difference from that player’s handicap.
If the configuration to adjust within the flight is selected, for each flight the Lowest Player will be identified adn all other players in the flight adjusted to the low player in the flight.
Adjust by Fixed Amount
When adjusting by a fixed amount, the configured value is applied to each player’s handicap. A positive (+) value increases the player’s handicap, while a negative (−) value decreases the player’s handicap.
Handicap Type
Handicap adjustments can be applied to the following handicap types:
Playing Handicap – Updates only the player’s playing handicap.
Course Handicap – Updates the player’s course handicap and recalculates the playing handicap based on the handicap percentage allocation defined in the event settings.
Handicap Index – Updates the player’s handicap index and recalculates both the course handicap and playing handicap using the updated index.
