Show event standings on a TV Display

Leaderboards can be displayed on a TV using the Unknown Golf TV App on an Amazon Firestick, or by casting the TV display from a computer to the TV.

Amazon Firestick / FireTV

With an Amazon firestick (or FireTV) that has Fire OS 6 or later you can search the Amazon App Store for the Unknown Golf TV App.

The Firestick must be running Fire OS 6 or later. If you cannot find the Unknown Golf TV App in the Amazon App Store, it is likely that your Firestick is running Fire OS 5 or an earlier version. Unfortunately, Firesticks running Fire OS 5 cannot be upgraded to Fire OS 6. If your device is on Fire OS 5, the only option is to purchase a newer Amazon Firestick that supports Fire OS 6 or later.

Once you open the Unknown Golf TV App, you will be prompted to enter an Event ID. You can find the Event ID on the event home page, located below the administration buttons.

Cast to TV

You can display the leaderboard on a TV by casting from a laptop or by connecting the laptop to the TV using an HDMI cable.

From the computer you plan to cast from, open the TV Display from the Event home page. Under the preview, click the View Full Screen button to display the leaderboard.

If the display appears cut off on the TV, try the following:

  1. Check that your laptop’s display resolution is set to 1920 × 1080 or higher.
  2. Set your browser to full-screen mode. If you’re unsure how to do this, search online for instructions on enabling full-screen mode for the browser you are using.
