Event delegated setup

Delegated Setup enables a configurable portal that allows an external organizer to manage key event details, including players, teams, tee pairings, and sponsors.

The portal supports either club-level or event-specific branding. Any players added and any assignments made within the portal are automatically synchronized with the event in Unknown Golf.

Portal Setup

  1. Top Banner Logo – The logo displayed in the portal’s top banner.
  2. Top Banner Color – The background color used for the top banner.
  3. Instructions – General instructions or information for the organizer, displayed below the top banner.

Player Entry

First and last name are required. The following additional fields can be enabled:

  1. Email – Require a player email address.
  2. Affiliation – Require an affiliation, such as a company name or home golf club.

Player Assignments

  1. Assign Teams – Allow team assignments, set the maximum number of players per team, and configure warnings for players not assigned to a team.
  2. Assign Tee Pairings – Allow tee pairing assignments, set the maximum number of players per tee time, and configure warnings for players not assigned to a tee time.
    Note: Tee times must be created by the event administrator (not the external organizer) in the Tee Time Pairings section of the event before players can be assigned.

Sponsors

  1. Enabled – Allow sponsors, including sponsor logos, to be added to the event.
  2. Instructions – General instructions or information for managing sponsors, displayed below the top banner.
  3. Allow Hole Assignment – Enable sponsor hole assignments so the sponsor’s logo appears at the top of the hole entry section when players enter scores during play.
